Three of the best beaches in Scotland

    1. Ayr Beach, Ayr

Not too far from our Craig Tara park, Ayr Beach is seriously awash with beautiful views. From certain spots you can see the Firth of Clyde, or the rural Isle of Arran. With a traditional pier, plenty of nearby cafes for a pit-stop, and remnants of the 16th-century Greenan Castle in reach, it's a memorable place to visit.

    2. Yellowcraig Beach, near North Berwick

A quick jaunt from Seton Sands Holiday Village is Yellowcraig Beach. Offering great views of Fidra Island, thought to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island, it also boasts plenty of sand dunes to bask in. A family-friendly spot that maintains an element of peace and quiet - this beach ticks a lot of boxes.

    3. Maidens Beach, Ayr

This Ayr-based beach is a bit of a hidden treat, lying in the shadow of the mighty Culzean Castle. It's a quiet beach with pleasant harbour views and a seafront path. It's perfect for a spot of relaxation after a visit to the castle itself.
