Three things to do on a weekend in North Wales
1. Explore Snowdonia National Park
A haven for walkers and wildlife lovers, there are nine mountain ranges and 74 miles of coastline in Wales’ largest National Park. It’s also dotted with a number of historic sites, with activities like fishing paddle boarding and kayaking available.
2. Visit Portmeirion
This colourful Italian-style village has to be seen to be believed! Sitting on a private peninsula, there’s a sub-tropical forest with walking routes and lakes, a sandy beach by the Dwyryd Estuary, as well as some charming shops and cafes.
